More Than Shelter — A Strong Start

Be A Strong Tower

|

What is the BEAST Transitional Living Program?

Grow Strong. Live Free. Build Forward.

For most foster youth, turning 18 means the support ends. At BEAST Ministries, it's just the beginning. Our 6-month, residential program offers a structured, faith-rooted path to help young adults (ages 17–24) step into adulthood with purpose, support, and real-world skills.

When entering this off-grid experience, it strips away all distractions and gives each participant the space to build — mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and practically.

We aren't just providing a roof. We're laying the foundation for life.

A Clear Path to Purpose

Our Process

We help participants move from uncertainty to independence through three key pillars: Structure, Skills, and Support. Every Guardian in training completes a guided checklist tailored to their needs, goals, and next steps.

01

Arrive & Reset

You'll live in a custom-built cabin and get oriented to camp life. Days begin with structure — meals, movement, group check-ins — and include both work and downtime. You'll get used to routines that ground and support you.

You're not just here to stay — you're here to grow.

02

Build Life Skills & A Plan

This is where things get real. You'll work through our life checklist, which includes things like:

  • Getting a photo ID
  • Opening a bank account
  • Budgeting your money
  • Basic cooking and meal planning
  • Job application and interview skills
  • Booking appointments
  • Self-care and hygiene routines
  • Personal development through journaling

You'll also get hands-on work experience working for one of our programs. Learning patience, responsibility, and empathy in the process while earning an income.

03

Supported Launch

As you near the end of your camp cycle, we help you plan what's next: Whether it's college, military, a trade, or getting your own apartment — we walk with you through it.

You'll leave with:

  • A graduation milestone
  • A personal roadmap
  • Community support
  • The option to return as a volunteer, RA, or mentor in future cycles
  • A Guardian Pod and a vehicle so you always have transportation and a place to sleep along the rest of your Guardian Path.

Your story doesn't end here — it starts here.

Your Questions, Answered

Can I refer someone else? +

Yes. Group homes, counselors, and foster parents can submit applications on behalf of youth.

Do I have to be religious to join? +

No. We are faith-based, but participation is always voluntary and respectful.

Is this like a rehab or military camp? +
